About
A snippet.
I started this site years ago, intending it to be a platform for sharing pieces of my journals and photography. As time has passed, the site has evolved. I, too, have as well. I pray this now to be a space for my common language where others venture and see beauty beyond my words.
I never started as a writer and I wouldn't even claim to be one now. I started journaling around the age of nine and only began sharing my writing with a small audience of others in 2021. I felt a deep sense of vulnerability in sharing my writing, for it had been a means of the Lord's saving grace in my life for 11 years. I felt it was deeply personal to Him and I. Much of my writing still remains kept between Him and I, but some of my writing I now share. I was unprepared for how much response I would receive from it, but I began to see His goodness bleeding from the pages of my journal into the hearts of others, a complete act of His grace.
I'm a full-time missionary in Clarkston, GA, with Envision Atlanta. I get the sweet privilege of still writing to many of those in my original audience, as well as many more. I cherish these people deeply. Though, my favorite times to write are those when I forget I'm writing to anyone, times when the worn pen of my youth freely scripts my communing with the Lord.

I married an editor in October 2023 named James. He's taught me many things: I use commas chaotically; I use "..." too much and improperly; I don't have a very large vocabulary; and I'm occasionally a jumbled mess of thoughts. I told you I'm not a writer. He's been an immensely gracious and helpful editor and husband. I love doing life with him and our Australian Mountain Doodle pup, Oli.

I invite you to join me in storytelling, sit and chat with me over a picnic, hike up any mountain, wander through greenhouses or antique shops, recommend good books, camp anywhere for a weekend, let me show you fun homes, become my pen pal, meet me at an ice cream shop, go on a walk in any park, meet our friends and neighbors, or come eat on our living room floor (dessert always included). The offers are always on the table.
Enough about me; I would love to get to know you.
